Add the bottom. Apply adhesive along the upward-facing edges of the planter in a drop pattern rather than a solid bead. This will create small channels for drainage. Then place one 12X12-inch or two 8X16-inch pavers on top to form the bottom. Allow the adhesive to harden for at least 24 hours before moving the planter.
