Cleaning a Roller Cover

Tired of trashing rollers (and dollars)? Here's how to clean them.

A roller cover takes in a lot of paint, so remove as much as possible into the paint tray. Scrape the cover with a putty knife or the curved side of a painter’s tool, drawing the paint out.

Rinse the roller cover in water (for latex paint) or solvent (for oil-base paint) until clean.
