Disguise the hardworking aspect of your potting bench with a simple table skirt.

Hem the edges of a piece of fabric that is 1-1/2 times longer than the length of your potting bench. Mount a thin curtain rod just under the edge of your bench. Use clip-style curtain hooks to hang your hemmed fabric piece from the rod.

Quick tip! Depending on your style, choose a worn fabric, such as denim, and skip the hemming in favor of frayed edges. Or use pinking shears to finish the edges.
