Tools + Materials
cotton pillowcases and duvet cover
lightweight cotton fabric, such as muslin
scissors
fresh flower blooms (we used a Gerbera
daisy)
acrylic crafts paint or fabric paint
sewing machine or thread and needle
scissors
cardboard (to protect work surface)
1. Decide how many stamped flower motifs you'd like to place on the linens. We used one flower on each pillowcase and five across the duvet. Trim squares from cotton fabric.

2. Place cardboard under the fabric square you're stamping to protect your work surface. Dip the flower in acrylic crafts paint or fabric paint and center it on a fabric square.
3. Press down on the petals so the paint makes contact with the fabric. Peel off the flower, starting at one side. Work quickly so the petals don't stick. Allow the stamped designs to dry.
4. Satin-stitch the fabric squares to the linens with contrasting-color thread.
Tip: Once completely dry, the linens can safely go in the washer.
