A garage door makes the perfect canvas for “painting” a Halloween scene; rather than paint, however, this temporary artwork is made from removable tape and crafts foam. Use wide strips of black tape to create the fence-post pattern. The black cat and bat shapes are made by tracing the outline onto black crafts foam; the shapes are adhered to the garage with temporary spray adhesive.

Tip: Test the tape in an inconspicuous area to ensure that the surface will not be damaged by the tape.
