How to make this handy key 'garage'.

Tools + Materials

  • shadow box (select a design that opens from the
         front)
  • decorative paper
  • crafts knife & straightedge
  • spray adhesive
  • ruler & pencil
  • four screw hooks

    1. Trim the paper with the crafts knife and straightedge to fit inside the shadow box.
    2. Spray the back of the paper with the adhesive and press the paper inside the shadow box. Use your fingers to smooth any wrinkles or air bubbles.
    3. Make four equally spaced pencil marks across the top third of the shadow box. Screw in a hook at each mark.

    Tip: Hang the shadow box near your entry door–no more hunting for your keys!
