Create chair rail from framed art.

Tools + Materials

  • various frames & prints
  • carpenter's level
  • pencil
  • construction adhesive

    This bathroom chair rail is a collection of framed cards. The frames are different sizes but share a consistent border width and color. Create a level line with the pencil and carpenter's level. If desired, paint the upper section of the wall a different color. Attach the frames to the wall by applying construction adhesive to the backs of the frames rather than trying to hang the frames on nails.
