Mix the Concrete

5. In a bucket, blend seven quarts of water with one jar of liquid color. Slowly pour the mixture into a larger bucket or wheelbarrow containing one bag of powered cement.

6. Mix with a hoe or electric mortar mixer until ingredients are the consistency of cookie dough. The mixture will be drier than the concrete used for sidewalks and patios.
