Tools + Materials
fabric
scissors
tape rule
staple gun and staples
1.If possible, remove the shelves so you can treat the hutch interior as one space. Cut fabric to size plus 2 inches additional height and width.
2.
Starting at the top, fold 1 inch of the fabric under and staple to the back of the hutch. Work slowly, keeping the fabric smooth, but don't stretch it. When you come to a corner, cut a diagonal slit so you can neatly fold the excess under (like wrapping a gift). Continue stapling.
3.
If desired, hide the staples by using a hot glue gun to attach a wide ribbon or decorative upholstery trim to the fabric.
