House your DVDs and CDs in a small utility box, lined with funky scrapbooking paper to add a little something extra.
Materials:
- Salvaged toy chest or utility box
- Sheets of scrapbooking paper or scraps of wallpaper
- Glue
- Wood wax and polish
How to make your media storage box:
1. Most old boxes weren’t meant to be used as fine furniture, so the finish on your box might be dry and faded. Simply clean the wood, apply a coat of wax, and polish it to a sheen.
2. Apply a thin layer of glue to the inside of the box lid. Carefully place your chosen paper on it. Do the same around the sides of the bottom of the box. Let dry before placing items inside.
