Storage Tip of The WeeK
Cell Phone Charger Storage
Say good-bye to cord clutter by creating an orderly charging station.

House your cell phones, iPods, and other charge-needy gadgets in a homemade storage center.

Materials:
  • Shadow box
  • Hook-and-loop tape
  • Power strip
  • Foam-core board
  • Crafts knife
  • Decorative paper

How to build the charger station:
1. Use hook-and-loop tape to attach the power strip to the back of a shadow box wall shelf. Plug chargers into the power strip.

2. Cut a piece of foam-core board to fit inside the box. Cut a piece of decorative paper to cover the foam-core board. Glue the decorative paper to foam-core board. Slide the covered board into the shelf, covering the power strip and feeding charger cords underneath. (Cut small notches in the bottom of the foam-core board for the cords, if necessary.) Plug in electronic gadgets and set them on the shelf.
