Use a handful of scrapbooking papers and some screw eyes to convert a divided tray into a functional jewelry storage unit.
Materials:
- Ruler
- Wooden cutlery tray (available at bed-and-bath stores)
- Tone-on-tone scrapbooking papers
- Crafts glue
- Screw eyes (as many as you have jewelry pieces)
- Jewelry
- Wall mounts
- Nails
How to create the jewelry storage unit:
1. Measure the openings of the cutlery tray. Cut scrapbooking papers to fit openings, using a different tone-on-tone piece for each one. Attach the papers with a light layer of crafts glue.
2. Secure screw eyes to the tray openings at the desired locations, measuring the jewelry as needed. Add wall mounts to the back of the tray using the hardware that comes with them. Use nails to hang the tray on the wall. Hang jewelry from the screw eyes.
