With rolls of wrapping paper, gift bags, and bows, gift-wrapping can be quite overwhelming. To ease the task, create this wrap station—the perfect place to organize all your supplies!
What You’ll Need:
- Table saw or circular saw
- 3/18-inch x 4 foot x 8 foot sheet of pegboard
- 4x8-foot sheet of 1/4-inch thick plywood
- 1x2-inch boards
- Finishing nails
- Hammer
- 1/4-inch spacers
- Paint
- Assorted pegboard hooks and brackets
- Small baskets
Start by determining the size for the wrapping station, then pencil the dimensions onto the pegboard and plywood. Carefully, use a saw to cut the boards.
Next, cut the 1x2-inch boards to frame the pegboard panel and attach them with finishing nails. Mount the pegboard panel to the plywood, sandwiching 1/4-inch spacers in between the panels along the outside edges.
Paint the assembled board the and allow to dry, then mount it on the wall. Use pegboard hooks to hang baskets and supplies. The metal hooks are perfect to hang gift bags and cards; small baskets can be hung from them and filled with bows or other supplies. Brackets can be used to support rolls of wrapping paper.
