Storage Tip of The WeeK
Pen-and-Pencil Storage Idea
Create a pen-and-pencil organizer by covering quart-size paint cans with scrapbooking paper.

Scraps of paper and a bit of glue can transform empty paint cans into an office storage solution.

Materials:
  • Tape measure
  • Six clean quart-size paint cans
  • Scissors
  • Six pieces of scrapbooking paper
  • Tape
  • Hot glue

How to build the office storage center:
1. Use a tape measure to determine the height of your paint cans and the distance around them. Cut six pieces of scrapbooking paper to this size.

2. Wrap a piece of scrapbooking paper around each can; tape in place. Apply hot glue to the seam edge of a can. Press and hold a second can to the first with seams together. Let cool. Attach remaining cans to the first pair in this manner, stacking the cans in a pyramid as shown.
