Can’t decide on a single color for the nursery? Then don’t! Pick three or four of your favorites and layer them on your walls in stripes that will make you and Baby smile. You can get away with a lot more whimsy in a kid’s room than you can in the rest of the house, so let your creativity play. Use painter’s masking tape to mark off the stripes. Use the technique on furniture, too. Here, the palette freshens a plain white storage console with bright blocks of color.
