This headboard treatment is a great concealer for less-than-perfect walls. Select a curtain rod that’s slightly wider than your bed and purchase or sew curtain panels to equal at least one and one-half the width of the bed. Panels that are tall enough to reach from floor to ceiling will look especially elegant. Using the provided mounting hardware, install the curtain rod on the wall near the ceiling and shirr the panels on the rod. (For an even more luxurious look, mount the rod to your ceiling.) Hang a wide, empty frame from the rod with picture-hanging wire. The nearly invisible wire makes the frame appear to float behind your pillows.
